SUB 1X12 EDGE har ett avancerat High-Speed Ultra-Long-Stroke element utvecklat av XTZ speciellt för Cinema-serien. Tack vare membranets låga vikt, den kraftfulla magneten och en stor och optimal lådvolym så klarar SUB 1X12 EDGE de olika impulserna och basgångar som skickas till den. Den långfibermassa som membranet är tillverkat av ger en mycket hög känslighet men även "mjukklippning"-egenskaper som ger ytterligare utrymme för distorsionsfritt ljud även vid extrema nivåer. Jämfört med gamla 1X12 är 1X12 EDGE utrustad med den nya sub-förstärkaren XTZ SA-1 med 1045 Watt maxeffekt byggd med klass-D-teknik från ICEpower®, som säkerställer nästintill perfekt klippkaraktär, maximal headroom och hög dynamik.
För att ställa in subwooferns ljud optimalt och anpassa den till ditt rum kommer Cinema 1X12 EDGE med förprogrammerade EQ-lägen som erbjuder möjligheten att EQ:a ljudet så det kan anpassas till olika typer av rum. Medan EQ-läget REF erbjuder maximalt djup bas, filterar EQ1 bort en del av de djupaste tonerna för att anpassa ljudet till normalstora rum med hög så kallad room gain. EQ2 lyfter kick-basen för att uppnå ännu punchigare bas. För att justera ljudet ännu mer finns en parametrisk EQ (PEQ) som går ställa mellan 30 Hz till 120 Hz och justera ljudtrycket från -9 dB till +9 dB. Ytterligare går den slot-formade basreflexporten stängas med den medföljande skumproppen. Då uppträder 1X12 EDGE som en sluten konstruktion med maximal precision och tidigare avrullande bas. Så hela subwooferns karaktär kan ändras efter dina önskemål.
Stark MDF säkerställer maximal stabilitet med optimal intern volym för baselementet. Den trapetsformade lådan reducerar interna resonanser effektivt och ger ett tidslöst utseende. Fronten är 30 mm tjock och alla sidor är förstärkta med 40 mm breda MDF-skivor, vilket ger en mycket stabil låda. Under lådan finns en extra MDF-fot som hela subwoofern vilar på för mer tyngd och stadga. På insidan finns flera lager med dämpmaterial för att absorbera inre resonanser. Lådan förblir stum oavsett ljudtryck.
Färgen på Cinema är av en speciell anti-reflex polyuretanlack som appliceras med 8 lager för att ge en jämn fin yta men också för att reducera reflexer från projektorn till ett minimum. Frontskyddet fästs med dolda magneter och ger därför högtalaren ett väldigt rent uttryck om subwoofern används utan frontskydd.

Excellent subwoofer. It has good quality with music. For movies this sub is deep (19hz) and controlled. No boomy. I had a PB1000 before and XTZ 1X12 has more kick in the chest because it has more SPL on 40-80hz. Althought I would like with more thump or impact yet.
I just love this bad boy for the deep and powerful bass. I use 2 x 1X12 in my home cinema and I compared it to SVS PB 2000 and Klipsch R-115SW and he beat both of them. The 1X12 is really a perfect mixture of deep but still controlled and precise bass. Ive never heard a better subwoofer in this pricerange and I would always buy it again. Full Recommendation!

I own the following Set: Front Cinema M6 Center Cinema M6 Center Surround Cinema S5 Subwoofer Cinema 1X12 I can simply say that this set has an awesome performance. Super sound for little money. The speakers offer a very brilliant and detailed sound. The maximum dnamic capabilities are just amazing! Of course they require a subwoofer since they are too small to perform deep bass. Thus the 1X12 is a perfect complement to the Cinema speakers. It plays very deep but still punchy and controlled. The only thing I do not like is the glossy front of the speakers. I want to see the drivers so I use them without the cover. I would have preferred a matte front.
I have bought this subwoofer to complete my Cinema Series setup im very satisfied and its a big improvement from my old sunfire HRS12! It has deep and powerful bass and its very controlled!
It took me quite a long time and lots of testing before I decided whhich speakers my new home cinema shall be equipped with. Finally I decided for XTZs cinema series (3 x M6 2 x S5 2 x 1X12 4 x S2). For me this is a perfect blend of price / performance and compromise in film and music. The M6 provide a great front with absolutely clear and clean voices. One cannot hear where the speakers are standing since they create a really good soundstage. The surround is done by the S5 which really do a great job in creating the feeling that you are part of the movie. One really feels completely surrounded. I use them in the Dipole 3X mode. Its a bit sad that there is only so few native 3D sound sources out there. The S2 do a great job even when the sound is only upscaled but I guess they can do much more than they have to do right now. With the 2 1X12 the bass is really accurate and precise. They play really deep and can play very loud if necessary. That is pure fun :D. Thanks to you guys for that great system!

Sub precise and controlled a great impact clean and immersive sound with both the music and the movies I never thought I would go so well for the cost of this subwoofer I always go for subwoofers costing 1300 Euros up. I met this subwoofer through some forum sites specializing in hi-fi and I have read many positive comments so I finally decided to buy also because there is a guarantee that allows you to return it within 30 days so you can try it safely home and then to decide. So I did. Use this sub mainly to see the films but also for ascoltrae music in both cases the result was exceptional. My room is about 20 square meters and the sub is too powerful for this square footage in fact Audyssey set him down a lot the level. The sound is powerful and with volumo reference punch is assured. I have been viewing scenes of many films that I knew really well and they have a whole different thickness. Even the bass in music are drastically changed for the better now they are deeper and longer present. In short without going into too much technical detail (for that there are specialized sites and professional reviews) I can say that this subwoofer has proved far above my expectations. A good buy especially in relation to the price paid I think its really hard to find something better in this range prezzo.I construction materials and the aesthetics are really cared for the powerful sound like in the cinema fast shipping (4 days me that I live in Italy) soI would recommend it highly to anyone who wants this subwoofer to increase the quality and ptoenza bass in your system for movies or music.
