After a long time of considering and comparisons I decided to order the 99.36 from you. What can I say: These are the best speakers I ve ever had at home! The price-performance ratio is incredible. Design sound and finish quality are absolutely top! The term priceworthy gets a completely new dimension. Its really excelelnt what you swedish guys do! Great job!

Previous owned speakers Monitor Audio RX6 Sonus Faber Gran Piano Domus Focal Aria 926. Superior speaker overall than all previous ones. Bass not as tight as the Sonus Faber but far better 3D imaging and detail. The adjustments are a very big plus. Can make a huge difference in difficult rooms like mine. Highly recommend getting the beryllium upgrade made the bass as good as the Sonus Faber with a treble as detailed as the ribbon but softer and more forgiving. 5 stars considering the price 6 stars with beryllium upgrade.

These speakers are awesome I have paired them with my Jungson J88D and they rock. They are so tweakable for room differences truly amazing and the bass is fantastic. So pleased with my purchase

Really great speaker. I have it in operation now for the past two years at my relatively old Marantz PM 5003 receiver. Warning: At the beginning I was not thrilled by the sound -> speaker and amplifier had to warm up! Lo and behold. Perfect sound! The 99.36 replaced my Canton tower speakers that had about 30-40% more volume. So I was really surprised that the XTZs produced a rich clean bass without a subwoofer. Terrific stereo pleasure. Meanwhile Ill also run 5.1 films in Stero mode since the 99.36 create a better soundstage in front of the TV than my center speaker. Possibly this is due to the quality of the center. Ill have to replace it soon with a 99.25. They can also playback with extremely high volume and never seem to reach a limit.

I own the following components from XTZ: 2 x 99.36 FLR 1 x 99.25 LCR Center 2 x 99.25 LCR 1 x 10.17 This is really an amazing surround set. Ive heard lots of different surround sets before but only few and very expensive seem to be equal to mine concerning sound and finish of the speakers. The 99.36 are not only great in providing a cinema atmosphere but also for stereo application when listening to music. The tweeter is a real diamond I love that smooth yet accurate sound with so many details. That is also the reason for me to choose the 99 series. Since the mids and treble are completely the same for 99.36 and 99.25 the set plays very harmonic and with a great surrounding stage. Since I like to listen to multichannel music this is the perfect choice for me. The 99 center reproduces voices with perfect tonal balance and great clarity. In the beginning I listened to music without the 10.17 but in between I love the bass which this little boy provides so much that I also use it for music. This is the first subwoofer which I ever had and which I like when listening to music. It is so precise in the background that it never gets annoying. It even helps the 99-speakers to play freely with maximum of details. When watching a movie I love that deep and strong bass which the 10.17 is able to create. 5 / 5 stars for every single piece of the set!

I run the XTZ 99.36 with a T & A K1 AV Receiver. The speakers are still in the warm-up phase. But I can already say that the upgrade from the 95.44 was worth it. The speakers play at a high level the sound is much better than from the Dynaudio Excite X34 which I had here for testing. The 36 plays more precise in the higher frequencies and has a deeper and more controlled bass than the X34. In my opinion it comes very close to the Dynaudio Focus 360. I just love that ribbon tweeter and the SEAS mid/bass driver of the 99.36. This combination is really a perfect balance. The 99.36 is a high-end speaker with perfect finish for an absolute competitive price. Best Buy!

Having owned a line of 99-speaker products finishing with the 99.36MkII I can definitely vouch for the value-for-money. It still smarts that I had to go up to PMC 25.23 at £3k to improve on them. Having auditioned a range of £2-3K speakers against them I would say they compete at twice their price! Would not rule out returning to XTZ in future...

I have tested the speake in a system with 2 99.36 1 99.25 Center and 2 99.25 surround speakers against surround sets from other manufacturers including Nubert Teufel Dynavoice and Kef. One should not expect the 99 set to stick out extreme in any way. When switching between the 99 and other speakers the 99 seems to be somehow boring and not very special. In continuous operation however this is precisely its great strength. Where other speakers begin to annoy the 99 speakers always stay relaxed and comfortable. They offer a very good audibility. The sound dissolves completely from the speakers. The voice reproduction is emotional and clear. They play very balanced without emphasizing any frequency range. They have a good and accurate bass. I operate them with the bassreflex plugs in closed mode because I have to place them close to the wall. The finish is really perfect. In Live they look much better than in pictures. From me full 5 stars

I have had these 99.36 FLR speakers for a few years now they are excellent! They sing beautifully with whatever I play through them! I paired them with a couple of subwoofers not that they need added bass but WOW! The subs allow the mid range and treble to float in the air unconstrained ! They are beautiful to look at too! The 99.36 is a great all rounder speaker for the money its great Owned 99.36 for a year and then upgraded to Monitor Audio Platinum PL200 ...the difference is not that big but Monitor Audio is a LOT more expensive!
