XTZ EDGE A2-300 är en kompakt 2-kanals effektförstärkare som levererar seriös prestanda i ett helt metallchassi med ett litet fotavtryck. Med 2 x 300 W i 4 ohm hög dämpning och 113 dB dynamiskt omfång är den idealisk för hi-fi- och hemmabioinställningar där utrymmet är begränsat men ljudkvaliteten är avgörande.
Den är byggd kring ICEpowers HCOM Class-D-plattform känd för sin breda bandbredd låga distorsion och knivskarpa transientrespons som levererar klart dynamiskt ljud med ultralågt brus. Och eftersom den bara drar 027 W i standbyläge kan du koppla in den och glömma den.
A2-300 stöder även monoläge via en stereo/mono-omkopplare på baksidan vilket möjliggör avancerade konfigurationer som bi-amping (ej bryggbar).

Den nya förstärkarserien EDGE har skapats från XTZs arv av elektriska enheter. Med modern förstärkarteknik har A2-300 nästintill outtömlig kraftkälla med sina 2 x 300W samt försvinnande liten strömförbrukning (upp till 90% effektivitet och 0,27W i standbyläge). EDGE A2-300 markerar en helt ny generation av förstärkare. Förutom energiprestanda är också ljudkvaliteten i toppklass, med den senaste ICEpower® Class-D-tekniken som överträffar de traditionella sätten att förstärka. Konstruktionen och hög komponentkvalitet resulterar i ett dynamiskt ljud och en låg förstärkarutgångsimpedans vilket resulterar i exakt baskontroll och mycket låg distorsion, som är överlägsen klass AB. Även om dessa imponerande specifikationer vanligtvis medför ett stort och klumpigt kabinett, har EDGE A2-300 ett minimalt och extremt styvt chassi av aluminium och stål. Detta ger hög mekanisk stabilitet, tillräckliga kylning och rack-monteringsmöjligheter.
ICEpower® klass D-tekniken i XTZ EDGE A2-300 har patenterade HCOM-modulerings- och styrteknik som garanterar utmärkt ljudprestanda. Med ett dynamiskt omfång på 113 dB, levererar förstärkaren en kraftfull signalförstärkning med ett mycket lågt bakgrundsbrus. Dämpningsfaktorn är mer än 1500 för att säkerställa maximal styrning av signalen och därmed ett jämnare och mer balanserat ljud. För att minimera strömförbrukningen kan EDGE A2-300 användas i Auto-On-läge. Detta läge möjliggör en standby-funktion som förbrukar mindre än 0,3W och startar automatiskt förstärkaren när den tar emot en signal. När signalen upphör återgår förstärkaren till standby-läge efter åtta minuter. Stereo / Mono-omkopplaren (belägen på baksidan), ger möjlighet att använda EDGE A2-300 till Bi-Amping (ej bryggbart). Gain-potentiometern kan användas för att justera utgångsnivån när den är ansluten till andra källor än vanliga förförstärkare till exempel mobiltelefoner, mediaspelare och så vidare. Den kan också användas för att justera in maxvolymen till din musikanläggning, som skydd för dina högtalare och känsliga öron. Denna övergripande flexibilitet, i kombination med extraordinär prestanda, gör EDGE A2-300 till ett utmärkt val för en myriad av ändamål.
En switch på baksidan gör att du kan välja mellan Stereoläge eller Monoläge (för till exempel Bi-Amping).

The xtz edge a2-300 is a very good amp so much power to such a little amp neutral character good bass control and definition sweet enough and good resolution on the highs only the mids are not exceptional I will say a bit dry but is acceptable in these price range the imaging is exceptional have a deep soundstage not so large in width but also depends on the speakers one of the best characteristics its his excellent composure. A excelent buy and at this price I will say almost unbeatable.
Dopo un paio di mesi posso sentirmi di scrivere un parere su questo amplificatorelo scopo e quello di riprodurre musica liquida CD e vinile dunque premesso che ledge 300 ha rimpiazzato un finale push pull a valvole di 6l6 da 20 watts e tuttora a pilotare il nuovo arrivato e il mio fedele pre amplificatore a valvole made in Italy dela Lector M.L.A. Una piccola premessa va fatta sono stato subito colpito da il fenomeno iniziale degli amplificatori in classe t qualche anno fa molto ben suonanti ma poco potenti poi sono passato al valvolare per notare questo prodotto in classe D ma dotato di una buonissima potenza quindi mi sono detto voglio provare un finale di questo tipoquasi privo di trasformatori.Bene prima di continuare devo dire che i diffusori sono una coppia di utah mod. 44 del 1976 Da 8 ohm e sono quelli che hanno ricevuto una seconda vita da questo finale di potenza che e molto completo ....potente suono aperto e trasparente buonissimo con voci analitico dettagliato e velocissimo su alti toni bassi molto buoni e dinamici .La qualita delle incisioni e dei file verra esaltata se di buona qualita m impietosamente castigata in caso contrario.un altro dettaglio sui diffusori che sono tre vie da libreria asospensione pneumatica con un bel woofer da 12 pollici .Unica cosa da fare e trovare una buona regolazione del prezioso trimmer del volume per evitare di danneggiare le casse.ho ragggiunto il massimo da questa fortunata combinazione aggiungendo cavi di potenza Van Den Hull Hybrid e un buon cavo di qualita tra pre e finale.Bene concludo dicendo che con una spesa ragionevole ho attuato un bellissimo cambiamento ricevendo anche i complimenti degli amici con i quali il sabato facciamo ascolti...bene grazie XTZ davvero un piccolo gioiello che vale molto molto....si quadagna ogni centesimo con un risultato davvero incredibile...preciso che ascolto Jazz Blues Afro Funky Reggae Rock e Fusion insomma un po di tutto anche con vinile con il mio Technics SL 1900 .Spero di essere stato utile..Buon ascolto con XTZ Edge 300!!!
I purchased this amp for my TV setup no triggering required due to signal sensing which works very well. The only thing I would say is that they should consider a model with balanced inputs this amp deserves that level of connectivity. Very pleasantly surprised. A pair of these in monaural mode would be very interesting indeed. I may just have to try that some day. You shouldnt expect sound like this from an amp of this price it has oodles of power the bass is tight and well controlled the level of detail is very good without being harsh I can listen to this for hours without fatigue. The noise floor is silent. This would make a great desktop amp for a pair of passive monitors. The build quality is excellent. Im using mine with a Yamaha WXC-50 into a Chord 2Qute DAC with Chord Shawline wiring all round. Paired with a digital streamer /pre-amp this makes a very nice bit of kit.
I have a lot to say about this product so please bear with me. This is a decent amp Full bottom good mids but missing top-end sparkle. very noisy ( almost unusable) when the gain knob in the back is pushed past halfway the closer you get to full volume the more noise shoots out of the tweeter . this happens with no sound/music and with music/sound coming up. when watching movies or during quiet parts of a song there is a distinctive fuzz/ bleeping/ white noise coming from the tweeter when the gain is pushed more than halfway. Solution Keep the gain knob under half or at the half BUT at this setting this amp is weaker than my Allo Volt D+ Double 60 watt amp. I recently bought Elac Debut Reference ubr62 ( was cheaper in early august than the absurd 1200 they want now) and I needed a bigger amp ( or so I thought). This amp does have a good bottom end more toms/ kicks etc than my Allo D+ BUT my previous amp had WAY more top-end clarity and separation of notes. it was awesome but It could not drive the ELAC Ubr62 right the last AMP sounded thin this Edge a2 solved that issue and brought the power needed to push my speakers. In end this amp is ok. Noisey lacks separation and clarity but has a good bottom end for a class D. IF you plan on using this with a PC you WILL need a DAC this amp picked up noises and sounds from the PC when rendering or using the GPU/CPU the noise was AWFUL I plugged this into a Topping d30 pro and the noise was reduced by a LOT. I did NOT have this issue with other Class D Amps even cheap ones ( Dayton/ SMSL/ ETC) I wouldnt recommend this amp. I still hear a faint pulsing sound haha.
I recently bought an XTZ Edge A2-300 to experiment with bi-amping my PMC IB2SEs. My Rogue tube amp might like some relief with the bass. Testing the XTZ Edge as stand alone power amp I get flabbergasted at the control and entertaining musicality it presents. Yes I get a bit nervous about the seeming synthetic high frequency timbre. My usual interconnect from preamp has too fat plugs for the Edges terminals but rummaging through my dismissed cable drawer I found van den Hul carbon interconnect. Fantastic - it matches the Edge very well. The resulting sound is very agreeable. The dynamics transients power resolution and control in the Edge is stunning. And at this price it is a killer! I could easily live with it as my only power amp.
Tonight I set up my glass break burglar alarm because I had the volume cranked. I love my xtz amp!!!!
I had an old Nad amp that was lacking clarity also the Quad 12l speakers I had did not have enough bass for the open plan living space. I opted for the A2-300 with the addition of the sub 8.17. All I can say is wow..... THe clarity soundstage and the bass from the sub is awesome. I thought I may need new speakers but the Quads sounds amazing with this set-up. I really think both the amp and sub makes my system sounds like true high end system System Quad 12l speakers Pre-amp Bluesound node 2i A2-300 XTC 8.17 sub
Great amplifier luxury look open sound great bass. Deserved any Euro. Better than my Quad 99 stereo.
I am very pleased with the amp. i am able to squeeze my 2.1 budget system effortless (Marantz Micca RB42 ). in the future i will buy another edge and use them both as mono block for an Ohms Walsh speaker set in my new home . they arrived perfectly to Calgary AB. Canada
Using the Edge A2-300 alongside several Emotiva PA-1 amps (now discontinued) which use the same ICEpower core. The sound is indistinguishable which is to say of great clarity and detail. Shipping to the US took under a week and the unit arrived well boxed.
