The 12.17 is a very good subwoofer which creates a high sound pressure and plays really precise. I mostly listen to music and use it for studio purpose. In combination with my studio monitors it creates a really flat and neutral frequency response. It was very easy to install and fits great with my monitors. I would have loved to have access to the inner DSP of the subwoofer which seems to do a really good job. Maybe that is possible in the future Otherwise a really great subwoofer.

A great and very powerful subwoofer. The bass is accurately reproduced. Fits great with my stereo system with two large floor standing speakers. The 12.17 is perfect as addition for movies to provide the deepest bass which the floorstanders cannot provide.

It took me a long time to think about what a subwoofer I want to get me and only after a long search I had the idea to look look at the XTZ subs. What can I say ... I was not disappointed. The sub is mainly used for movies and series but I also use it to play techno and other sub-genres of electronic music. The bass is precise and accurate. The Auto-On / Off works fine and he makes me happy every day. I would buy it again in any case

12.17 is a large and extremely strong Subwoofer! Besides this subwoofer even my speakers look small. In any case a purchase recommendation! This subwoofer plays down to 19 Hz which means you cannot only hear the deep bass but also feel it very strongly! Movies are now much more realistic when everything shakes :) Not recommended if you live in a rented apartment with fussy neighbours. The box is huge thus unwieldy and the subwoofer is really heavy. Purchase one and have fun: D

What a wonderful Subwoofer and company! After reading many positive reviews in internet I decided to buy a XTZ 12.17 Subwoofer. I contacted to company for purchase and they upgraded my sub to edge version which is even more powerful than the original one. Last week I watched a film with my friends. Everybody liked the sub. Its located in my living room which is more than 30m2 and I didnt feel any power issues! We were all shaken! You cant buy anything close to it for the same price. And Its not just about price or power...its about versatility its about quality its about customer service. If you think that you can buy another subwoofer for the same price think twice! It will have one option but not all together. A high end amp... or three color options...or sound tuning options...or higher build quality...or such a long warranty... Its really an all in one subwoofer. There is no match in its price category and well above!

Due to my small room i never had the opportunity to find the optimal spot for the subwoofer so it didnt sound well it was very boomy and lately the subwoofer was producing some noises so i thinked it was upgrade time! After many research and very good feedback of the SUB 17 series due to their sound quality and the room tuning options with a very affordable price i went in contact with XTZ Support asking them an advice because i was undecided between the 10.17 edge and 12.17 edge subwoofers. Mr. Olle advice me to go to the bigger model so i bought 2 due to the benefits of using more than one subwoofer. What to say about them.... simply they are amazing they are very fast and produce a very clean tight bass with an unbelievable strenght that i feel on my backs which is very pleasant all the problems i had with the bass are gone.

I can only agree with the previous reviews. After being a very happy owner of the standard Sub 12.17 I had some unfortunate issues with the built-in amplifier. No worries! XTZs fantastic customer support not only helped despite me having since relocated to the other side of the world. When sending a replacement they also offered an EDGE upgrade. This made my subwoofer perform at levels I didnt think were possible at this price range. I can honestly say that the 100 euro price difference for the Sub 12.17 EDGE is worth every cent. Extremely refined clean bass with a nice punch that can be felt. For anyone looking for a new subwoofer I can give this speaker my warmest recommendations.

very satisfied with my purchase. I had to fine tune the xtz sub 12.17 edge a bit but then the result is great too. it is certainly suitable for music listeners but I would close the ports. then the bass tones are dry and tight. this sub can certainly go with the best but the price is a lot friendlier. the quality is very high. contacting is also easy and to your liking for questions and support
