XTZ Cinema S5 är inte en vanlig surroundhögtalare. Det går att välja mellan tre olika funktioner; direktstrålande, di-pol eller di-pol 3X. De låga frekvenserna är väldigt viktiga i en surroundhögtalare så S5 har två bredbandselement på varje sida, och dessa gör att flera olika inställningsmöjligheter finns tillgängliga samt en garanti för optimalt ljud oavsett rum, miljö eller anläggning. Dubbla diskanter i fronten ger kristallklart ljud även vid höga ljudtryck. Luta er tillbaka och njut av denna unika surroundhögtalare som levererar maximalt med realistiskt ljud till filmer.
S5 är väldigt unik och har tre olika inställningar:
Normala dipole-högtalare ger en kompromissad spridning och det lätt skapas "hål" i ljudbilden beroende på placering och rum. Dipole 3X fungerar ofta väldigt bra i de flesta rum även med begränsade möjligheter att placera högtalaren fritt. Samtidigt ger den direktstrålande inställningen en perfekt alternativ för "en sits" optimerad hembioanläggning. Du skifta inställning enkelt på baksidan av S5 med hjälp av den övre terminalen och medföljande brygga.
För M6 och S5 har vi utvecklat en unik och specialanpassad diskant. Chassit, som är gjutet i aluminium, är i ett kompakt format. Diskanten måste vara kompakt eftersom de 2st diskanterna måste sitta tätt för att skapa denna dual array och därför har vi använt kraftfulla men små neodymiummagneter. Bas/mellanregisterelementen är gjorda med väldigt lätta men styva membran och i kombination med kraftfull magnet i en gjuten aluminiumkorg av "high-flow" typ och extrema ljudtryck kan skapas trots kompakta mått.
Använd S5 som direktstrålande, di-pol eller di-pol 3X. 1 st bas/mellanregister, 2 st diskanter och 2 st 3" bredbandhögtalare gör S5 unikt flexibel. Använd front elementen och S5 fungerar som en normal högtalare. Om endast de sidomonterade 3" elementen används då fungerar S5 som en di-pol. Om alla elementen används då får man en bredspridande högtalare i läget di-pol 3X. Denna extrema flexibilitet gör S5 unik och därför väldigt mångsidig och kan därför användas till många olika typer av installation.
Stark HDF försäkrar om maximal stabilitet med små dimensioner med optimal intern volym för elementen. Den oregelbundna lådan reducerar interna resonanser effektivt och ger ett tidslöst utseende. Infällda fästen anpassade till vårt Flushmount kit gör att monteringen mot vägg blir stabil och slimmad nära vägen. Eller använd vårt golvstativ som också kan fästas i de infällda fästena på baksidan.
Lacken på Cinema är anti-reflex lack som är en speciell polyuretanlack som appliceras med 8 lager för att ge en jämn fin yta men också för att reducera reflexer från projektorn till ett minimum. Grillen fästs med magneter och ger därför högtalaren ett väldigt rent uttryck om grillen ej används.
Den högkvalitativa terminalen på baksidan av S5 är designad för bästa kontakt. Kontakterna är guldpläterade för att minimera resistansen och maximera signal överföringen. Terminalen som är nedsänkt i lådan är klar för ren kabel eller banankontakter.
XTZ-loggan är magnetisk vilket gör att du väljer om du vill ha loggan monterad eller ej, och beroende på vertikal eller horisontell montering så anpassar man enkelt loggans placering.

Highly Recommended - Award Overall when assessing the sound quality and how well these XTZ Cinema Series speakers work together I am struggling to think of any negatives at all. The sheer soundscape they are capable of producing and the way they are so well matched to create a cohesive soundstage that just melts away and does so on a few levels makes you wonder why you would want the new 3D sound formats. There are a few occasions when you just hear a well put together speaker and sound system and things makes sense and you are transported away without noticing. That is what the XTZs were capable of doing for me in my system and it was the cohesive nature of the performance that nailed it for me. Phenomenal - Award Strong performance from Sweden! The XTZ Cinema 5.1 set can be noticed very positively in the home theater operation. Closed soundscape lively effects high SPL and tremendously strong bass performance by the world-class active subwoofer are offered. In music mode the services are very respectable the total harmony could only be a little bit higher. The high-quality finish and the and sophisticated technology are highly commendable. Excellent sound from these speakers they manage to make the sound really sound like its coming from behind. The dipole effect is fantastic. They look nice and neat and fit on the wall very easily with the flush mount brackets. Definitely recommended.
I own the following Set: Front Cinema M6 Center Cinema M6 Center Surround Cinema S5 Subwoofer Cinema 1X12 I can simply say that this set has an awesome performance. Super sound for little money. The speakers offer a very brilliant and detailed sound. The maximum dnamic capabilities are just amazing! Of course they require a subwoofer since they are too small to perform deep bass. Thus the 1X12 is a perfect complement to the Cinema speakers. It plays very deep but still punchy and controlled. The only thing I do not like is the glossy front of the speakers. I want to see the drivers so I use them without the cover. I would have preferred a matte front.
I have the Cinema M6 in operation in a surround setup including Cinema S5 and 1X12 since one year and have to say that I never heard a better home cinema setup than mine. It is amazing how broad the sound from the S5 is. I use them in Dipole 3X mode which creates the best surround effect in my flat. It really feels like I have a 7.1 system instead of the 5.1 which I really have. Of course the price is quite high but the S5 is definitely worth it!
I must admit that I was quite sceptical in the beginning to mix these small speakers with the M8 Tower and M8 Center but I was totally wrong. Ive never heard a surround speaker with such amazing capabilities. The S5 makes you totally feel like you are inside the movies. It surrounds you with sound but still plays very accurate and precise. That was a total surprise!
It took me quite a long time and lots of testing before I decided whhich speakers my new home cinema shall be equipped with. Finally I decided for XTZs cinema series (3 x M6 2 x S5 2 x 1X12 4 x S2). For me this is a perfect blend of price / performance and compromise in film and music. The M6 provide a great front with absolutely clear and clean voices. One cannot hear where the speakers are standing since they create a really good soundstage. The surround is done by the S5 which really do a great job in creating the feeling that you are part of the movie. One really feels completely surrounded. I use them in the Dipole 3X mode. Its a bit sad that there is only so few native 3D sound sources out there. The S2 do a great job even when the sound is only upscaled but I guess they can do much more than they have to do right now. With the 2 1X12 the bass is really accurate and precise. They play really deep and can play very loud if necessary. That is pure fun :D. Thanks to you guys for that great system!
I have bought a Cinema Series set S5 Surround speakers work very well and they have a very good tonal uniformity with the front. I have chosen the 3x Dipole for the best immersive experience watching a movie.
